The science behind osseointegration of Zirconia implants is similar to that of Titanium implants. The bone is not offended by the implant and grows right up against the screw, locking it into place. The Zirconia implants do not have any allergic or conductive properties and tend to be accepted amongst all patients. There are many reasons to want a metal free implant, and the Zirconia Implants are strong, beautiful and long lasting. Their efficacy has been proven in Europe for years, and now that the FDA has approved specific brands, we are happy to be able to offer these to our patients that need a tooth replaced.
